The Thomas H. Hodder Memorial Scholarship has been created in memory of a longtime member of the Cranberry Volunteer Fire Company.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — A new scholarship will reward community service in honor of a longtime member of the Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company.
The Thomas S. Hodder Memorial Scholarship was recently created to honor Hodder, a life member of the fire company, who passed away in September 2020.
Over his 48 years of service, Hodder served as an EMT and past vice commander for the Cranberry Volunteer Ambulance Corps. He also volunteered for the fire police in his later years. "He selflessly served his community and exemplified the definition of volunteering," a township news release stated.
