• Synagogue attacks were part of massive ISIS-inspired plot last week, FBI says (forward.com) — Federal agents arrested a Valencia man in a Cranberry hotel parking lot after he allegedly plotted ISIS-inspired mass attacks, including poisoning food at synagogues and staging a mass shooting. Authorities seized a rifle, ammunition, and numerous knives, and say he had been on their radar since a prior mass-casualty plot case. Local Jewish institutions report no specific synagogue was targeted but remain in close contact with law enforcement.
