Raiders victorious in a physical contest with the Titans.

The Seneca Valley girls soccer team are 2-0 in section play after shutting out the Lady Titans of Shaler on Wednesday.

SV's impressive offensive and defensive efforts thwarted any plans the Titans had of avenging a 3-2 section loss to Pine-Richland earlier in the week. The Raiders in their section opener last week.

Wednesday's game was fast and physical. Two minutes after kickoff, senior midfielder/forward Madison Kozlowski was carried off the field following a collision with a Titan defender.

Despite Shaler's tight one-on-one defense, Seneca dominated the game with their number of shots on goal and corner kick opportunities.

Senior midfielder Sarah Stevens tallied both goals of the evening, making it the third time this season she has broken the ice for the Lady Raiders.
