Racial Equality Event To Be Held In Cranberry

The event aims to inform, educate and engage the community on issues minorities face in daily life.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — Organizations from in and around the township will come together next week to discuss how to make the community more equal for individuals. The event, titled “Addressing Racial Equality in Our Community,” will occur July 19 at 7 p.m. 19 at the Rotary Amphitheater in Community Park.

Organized by the Cranberry Area Diversity Network in conjunction with the Council of Churches and Level Up North the event aims to inform, educate and engage the community on issues minorities face in daily life.

The 90-minute gathering will include speakers and break out small-group discussions where attendees can reflect on the topics at hand. Organizers hope to gather community feedback and create opportunities to ensure all members of the community are treated equally and fairly.
