Warrendale Bayne Road Ramp To I-79 Closed This Weekend

Motorists will be inconvenienced as the ramp is resurfaced.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - The ramp carrying traffic from Warrendale Bayne Road to southbound Interstate 79 in Marshall Township near Cranberry will be closed this weekend for resurfacing.

The ramp will close from 5 a.m. Saturday until 6 a.m. Monday. Here’s the detour:

  • From Warrendale Bayne Road, take Route 19 (Perry Highway) north
  • Turn right onto Route 228
  • Take the ramp to southbound I-79 toward Pittsburgh
  • Follow I-79 back to the Warrendale exit
  • End detour

This $1.28 million project also includes roadway widening, milling and paving, drainage improvements, curb cut ramps, sidewalk improvements, signal upgrades and pavement marking installation at the Warrendale Bayne Road intersection with Brush Creek Road-southbound I-79 on-ramp. Additional improvements will occur at the intersection with Innovation Drive.
