Whiz Kids: Seneca Valley Student Earns National Merit Finalist Status

senior Cara Lucas has been named a 2012 National Merit Finalist.

Cara now waits to hear if she has won a National Merit Scholarship, which will earn her the elite title of National Merit Scholar.

National Merit finalists are selected on the basis of their academic skills, accomplishments and potential for success in rigorous college studies.

Cara is the daughter of John and Patricia of Cranberry Township.
