Appointments Made to Borough Committees

Several committee appointments were made Monday night.

Several people were appointed to borough committees and commissions at Monday’s meeting.

The appointments are as follows:

  • Vickie McGurk was unanimously appointed to the Solid Waste Management Commission until the first Monday of 2015.
  • Robert Tamburo was unanimously appointed to the Traffic and Parking Planning Commission until the first Monday of 2017.
  • Janine Wenzig was appointed by a 6-1 vote to the Zoning Hearing Board until the first Monday of 2015. Councilwoman Laurie Malka voted against the action.
  • Chris McGee and Natalie Mihalek were appointed by a 5-2 vote as alternates to the Zoning Hearing Board. Councilmen John Maggio and Eugene Barilla voted against the action.
  • Mary Cothran was unanimously appointed to the Civil Service Commission until the first Monday of 2018.
  • Kim Hoffman was unanimously appointed to the Recreation Board until the first Monday of 2017.
  • Jeff Fabus and Kevin Hensler were unanimously appointed to the Recreation Boartd until the first Monday of 2013, both to fill unexpired terms.
  • Jim Kraus, Grant Shiring and Jim Lamb were appointed by a 5-2 vote to the Planning Commission until the first Monday of 2017. Maggio and Barilla voted against the action.
  • Ryan Kelley was unanimously appointed to the Cable T.V. Board for a one-year term.
  • James Lamb was unanimously appointed to the SHACOG Rate Review Board for a one-year term.
  • Leah Petrilli was unanimously appointed to the Vacancy Board for a one-year term.
  • Dee Krugh and Ryan Kelley were unanimously appointed to the Shade Tree Commission. The term was not specified.
