Dormont Meeting Location Changed

To accommodate larger crowds, the next two Dormont Council meetings will be held at the above Dormont pool.

The agenda meeting is today, Monday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. and the business meeting is Monday, March 5 at 7 p.m. The Dormont Recreation Center is located at 1801 Dormont Ave.

A special meeting of council will be held Wednesday, Feb. 29 at 7 p.m. to finalize the job advertisement and process for finding a borough manager. The meeting is open to the public. The only agenda item is the advertisement and timeline of activities for finding a borough manager, but council President Bill McCartney said there likely also will be discussion about finding an interim manager. This meeting will be held in the council chambers in the on Hillsdale Avenue.
