13,000 Without Power In Bucks Co. After Storm

DOYLESTOWN, PA — More than 13,000 residents are without power across Bucks County after a destructive storm swept through the area.

The outages hit Doylestown especially hard, knocking out power for 2,675 in the township and 3,620 in the borough.

Other municipalities that were hard hit:

• Buckingham: 1,757
• Middletown: 1,086
• New Britain Borough: 706
• Warrington: 699

Restoration times vary greatly from a few hours to a few days. Updates will be provided as they become available.

It has not yet been confirmed by the NWS if a tornado touched down, but the damage is consistent with damage from the tornado that hit Berks and Chester counties Tuesday night.
