2 Students Charged With Cyber Harassment: Central Bucks Regional Crime Report
During February, police reported the following incidents and arrests in Doylestown, New Britain, and Chalfont Boroughs.
DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — The Central Bucks Regional Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests in February for weapons offenses, cyber harassment, drug violations, DUI, simple assault, and theft.
February 2
OBTAIN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE MISREPRESENTATION, CRIMINAL USE OF COMM, FORGERY, IDENTITY THEFT, TAMPER W/PUBLIC RECORD, 10 N. Main Street at Lower Bucks Wellness, Doylestown Borough - A 37-year-old man from Buckingham was charged with numerous offenses following an investigation of an incident on Jan. 16. The man was a patient at Lower Bucks Wellness and claimed his controlled substance prescriptions were stolen. The man supplied a police report in an attempt to substantiate his claim. It was determined that the report was fraudulent and utilized the name of a person without permission. An arrest warrant was issued and the man turned himself in. He was arraigned and bail was set at $15,000 with conditions.

February 4
TERRORISTIC THREATS, CYBER HARASSMENT, HARASSMENT, 160 Moyer Road at Unami Middle School in Chalfont Borough - A 13-year-old boy from Warrington and a 13-year-old boy from New Britain Township were charged with sending threatening messages (including pictures of assault-style rifles) toward another student on a social media platform.

DRUG VIOLATIONS, 375 W. Court Street (CB West), Doylestown Borough - A 16-year-old boy from Doylestown was charged after he was found in possession of a vape pen containing THC product.
February 6
WEAPONS CHARGES, 143 E. Butler Avenue (Bunker Gun Shop II), Chalfont Borough - A 41-year-old man from Warminster was charged with making false written statements in July 2025 in an attempt to purchase a handgun when prohibited. An arrest warrant was issued on February 3. The man turned himself in on Feb. 6, was arraigned, and bail was set with conditions.
February 7
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE, E. State Street, Doylestown Borough - A 40-year-old man from Montgomery Township was charged with DUI following a traffic stop for traveling the wrong way on a one-way street. The man showed signs of intoxication. Field sobriety tests were administered, and legal blood draw was obtained at Doylestown Hospital. The passenger in the vehicle was charged with possession of an illegal substance.
February 12
THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING, THEFT LOST PROPERTY, RECEIVING STOLEN MERCHANDISE, 102 Shewell Avenue, Doylestown Borough - A 49-year-old man from Jackson Township, NJ, was charged with theft after he found an I-phone on the grounds of the Bucks County Justice Center. The man was identified by employees, and attempts were made to retrieve the now sold or discarded I-phone.

DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE, E. Butler Avenue and Lamp Post Road, New Britain Borough - A 39-year-old man from Chalfont was charged with DUI following a traffic stop for driving a bicycle with no illumination of lights during a required time. The man presented with signs of intoxication and refused a field sobriety test. A subsequent legal blood draw was obtained at Doylestown Hospital.
February 17
WEAPONS CHARGES, 143 E. Butler Avenue (Bunker Gun Shop II), Chalfont Borough - A 35-year-old woman from Lower Providence Township was charged with making false written statements in October 2025 in an attempt to purchase a handgun when prohibited. An arrest warrant was issued on February 12. Subject turned herself in on February 17, was arraigned, and bail was set with conditions.
SIMPLE ASSAULT, HARASSMENT, DISORDERLY CONDUCT, 409 E. Butler Avenue, New Britain Borough - A 36-year-old woman from New Britain Borough was charged with simple assault, harassment, and disorderly conduct following police response for a domestic in progress. The woman found questionable text messages on the victim’s phone and proceeded to assault the victim, causing injury.
February 20
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE, North Main Street, Doylestown Borough – A 44-year-old woman from New Hope was charged with DUI following a traffic stop for front and rear lights not illuminated during a required time. The driver presented with signs of intoxication. Field sobriety tests were administered and a subsequent legal blood draw was obtained from Doylestown Hospital.
February 21
PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS, 194 W. Ashland Street (Tap House), Doylestown Borough – A 41-year-old woman from Spring House was charged following police response to the establishment for a physical altercation.
DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE, Heritage Lane, Doylestown Borough - A 45-year-old man from Philadelphia was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop after the officer traveling behind the vehicle smelled marijuana coming from the truck. The man admitted to smoking marijuana while driving and was taken to Doylestown Hospital for a legal blood draw.
February 22
UNDERAGE DRINKING, 700 E. Butler Avenue (Delaware Valley University), New Britain Borough – An 18-year-old man from Ephrata was charged following police response for a highly intoxicated subject.
RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY & TRAFFIC VIOLATION, East and North Streets, Doylestown Borough – A 35-year-old man from Falls Township was charged following a traffic stop for failing to come to a complete stop at a stop sign. The man was also in possession of a stolen license plate. He was arraigned, bail was set at 10 percent of $25,000, and he was remanded to Bucks County Prison for extradition to New Jersey on an unrelated arrest warrant.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT, Doylestown Borough – The following individuals were cited for public urination in separate incidents: A 23-year-old woman from Warrington; a 21-year-old man from Philadelphia; a 22-year-old man from Chalfont; and a 21-year-old woman from Lower Moreland.
