24 Central Bucks Students Earn First Seal Of Biliteracy In The County
The Seal of Biliteracy is given to students who attain intermediate-high proficiency or higher in English and one or more world languages.

DOYLETOWN, PA — Twenty-four Central Bucks students are the first to receive the Seal of Biliteracy in Bucks County from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
"Congratulations," Stacy Gray, the district's world languages coordinator, told the students during a recognition event. "Now go forth and use your remarkable skills to do good in this world."
The Pennsylvania Seal of Biliteracy (PASB) is given to students who attain intermediate-high proficiency or higher in English and one or more additional world languages upon high school graduation.

“As we prepare our students to choose their future pathways, it’s our goal to give them as many competitive edges as possible,” said Gray. “According to Indeed.com, the state of Pennsylvania has over 8,539 vacant jobs for bilingual workers.
“Individuals who are truly multilingual and biliterate have a rare skill set, and while this recognition can benefit our English language development students, it’s also an excellent opportunity for our students who are learning a second language like Spanish, French, Latin, or Chinese,” she added.
Central Bucks students earning the Seal of Biliteracy are:
- Central Bucks East students Yamileth Arriaza, Dennis Hancock, William Harding, Tooba Khan, Matthew Mangiacapre, Lillian Werner, Dhaval Tantry, Kaitlyn Blimegger, Sonya Bates, and Samantha Holmen
- Central Bucks South students Duncan Karcher, Allie Levy, Jasmine Liu, Petrina Mitre, and Ava Regensburger.
- Central Bucks West students Lina Hoffman, Saidia Najera Galacia, Sara Van Reymersdal, Alegria Proano, Mila Acosta-Morales, Madelyn Greenberg, Xochitl Guerrero, Andres Herrera, and Erin Windisch.
