3 Doylestown Area Roads Targeted For Pothole Repairs This Week

Motorists can also expect delays beginning this week in nearby Hilltown Township where a pipe replacement project is set to begin.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Motorists in the Doylestown area can expect delays on several area roadways this week while maintenance crews conduct pothole repairs. A pipe replacement project is also scheduled to start this week on Route 113 in Hilltown Township. Here are the details:

Doylestown Area

Maintenance crews from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will again be hitting the road this week repairing potholes on the following area roadways:

  • Route 413 (Durham Road) in Buckingham, Wrightstown, and Newtown townships.
  • Almshouse Road in Warwick and Doylestown townships
  • Bristol Road in Warminster, Warwick, Doylestown, and Upper Southampton townships

Drivers are reminded to slow down in work zones and refrain from distracted driving to keep themselves and the state's road workers safe.

Hilltown Township

A pipe replacement project is scheduled to begin this week on a section of northbound Route 113 (Souderton Road) in Hilltown Township. Motorists can expect a weekly lane closure with flagging from Tuesday, March 31 through Friday, April 17 from 9 am. to 3 p.m. The work will take place week days on northbound Route 113 between the off ramp of Route 309 (Sellersville Bypass) and Bethlehem Pike. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays may occur. The schedule is weather dependent. Highway Materials, Inc. of Flourtown, is the general contractor on this project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.
