BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Another winter weekend is upon us, and it's offering plenty to see and do in Bucks County, from a "Gilmore Girls" Gala to a Lunar New Year celebration welcoming the Year of the Horse.

For the foodies among us, there's still a chance to savor and enjoy the mouth-watering offerings of Restaurant Week in Yardley. The event is spotlighting a dozen of the river town's popular restaurants and watering holes.

You can also catch a performance of "Stardust" by the Concordia Chamber Players or take in the world premiere of "Starstruck," which opens this week at the Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope.

Restaurants Serving A Taste Of Yardley

Grilled Iberico Pork Tenderloin. Faroe Island Salmon. A 3-course Italian dinner. Sweet and spicy flatbread pizza. And a 4-course Japanese dinner. That's just a sampling of what's on the menu in Yardley Borough as Restaurant Week continues through Feb. 22. A dozen restaurants in Yardley Borough are serving menus chock-full of mouth-watering dishes and drinks, making this the perfect time to explore and enjoy the town's growing and ever-evolving restaurant scene. Participating eateries and watering holes include Vault Brewing, Panna Gelateria, The Continental Tavern, Yardley Inn, Burritos, Charcoal BYOB, Rosa Bianca, Vince's Pizza & Restaurant, Yardley Pizza, Kawaii Tori, Pretty Bird, and Pretty Burgers.

'Starstruck' Opens New 2026 Season At Playhouse

The Bucks County Playhouse opens its 2026 season this week with the world premiere of "Starstruck" featuring a score by Emily Saliers of Indigo Girls and a book by Beth Malone and Mary Ann Stratton. The production is directed and choreographed by Lorin Latarro, who serves as a member of the Playhouse’s Artistic Council. Starring in the show are Tony Award nominee Beth Malone (“Fun Home”), who co-created the musical and also stars as Cyd DeBerg; alongside Krysta Rodriguez (“Smash” and “Into the Woods”) as Roxanne Cooley and Sam Gravitte (“Wicked”) as Chris. Pearl S. Buck House To Welcome Year Of The Horse

Pearl S. Buck International and the Central Bucks Chinese American Association are teaming up to host a Lunar New Year celebration on Saturday, Feb. 21, at the Pearl Buck House at 520 Dublin Road. The family-friendly celebration with events for all ages is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will mark the arrival of the Year of the Horse. There is a fee.

Concordia Chamber Players Present "Stardust"

Bucks County's premier chamber music ensemble - the Concordia Players - presents "Stardust" on Sunday afternoon, Feb. 22, beginning at 3 p.m., featuring Grammy-nominated pianist Simone Dinnerstein in her Concordia debut. The program spans from Arvo Pärt's meditative Da Pacem Domine and Georg Philipp Telemann's Baroque brilliance to Johann Sebastian Bach's joyful Keyboard Concerto in E Major, BWV 1053, concluding with Robert Schumann's beloved Piano Quintet in E-flat Major, Opus 44. The public is invited to a free open rehearsal on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 3:30 p.m. at The Historic Phillips Mill, 2619 River Road, New Hope. Tickets for the Feb. 22 performance are $40 and available at concog/rdiaplayers.ortickets. Students under 18 are always free, and one accompanying adult is also admitted free with each child. The concert takes place at Trinity Church, 6587 Upper York Road, Solebury, PA.

Neshaminy Creek To Celebrate 'Gilmore Girls'

Fans of the television series, "Gilmore Girls," won't want to miss the 2nd Annual Gilmore Girls Gala at Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company, 909 Ray Avenue in Croydon. The event is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 21, from 12 to 7 p.m. Admission to the gala is free. The gala will feature several attractions designed for fans of the show. Themed drinks will be available, inspired by Luke's Diner. Food trucks will also be on-site to provide dining options throughout the day. Vendors will offer Gilmore-inspired merchandise and goods for purchase. Attendees can also participate in episode screenings, allowing them to revisit favorite moments from the series. A trivia competition is planned for those who enjoy testing their knowledge of the show's details and characters. The event is described as a day-long celebration of all things related to "Gilmore Girls."
