BUCKS COUNTY, PA — While the first flowers of spring are beginning to peep through the grass after their long, winter slumber, a different kind of "Peep" has invaded Bucks County's popular shopping and dining destination.

Yes, that's right, the Peeps are back and they are literally everywhere at Peddler's Village. Don't miss out on this unique chance to take a "Peep" at this year's marshmallow creativity.

The Peeps Are Back At Peddler's Village

The Peeps are back, and they've invaded Peddler's Village. The popular marshmallow Easter treat made in nearby Bethlehem by Just Born, have taken over the Bucks County shopping and dining destination just ahead of Easter. The annual Peeps in the Village competition and display is open from now through April 12 inside the Visitor & Event Center where more than 100 marshmallow masterpieces are on display.

'A Cappella At The Rock' In Newtown

In what is expected to be a musical extravaganza, some of the best high school singers from across the region will be taking the stage at Council Rock North for this year’s “A Cappella at the Rock.” Scheduled for Saturday, March 21 beginning at 7 p.m. at Council Rock High School North in Newtown, the high energy evening will open with performances by high school choirs from Bucks, Philadelphia and Delaware counties. After a short intermission, the show continues with a performance by the internationally known a cappella group, “Six Appeal." Tickets at $25 for adults and $15 for students are available at the door.

Show Spotlights High School Artists

The public is invited to the 31st Annual Congressional High School Art Show on exhibit from now through April 5 inside the Hicks Art Center Gallery at the Bucks County Community College in Newtown. High school art teachers have selected their students’ best work for the exhibition and for submission to the competition. The first-place winning artwork will be sent to Washington, D.C., to be displayed in the corridors of the Cannon Tunnel of the U.S. Capitol for a year, representing Pennsylvania’s 1st Congressional District.

Wineskin To "Rock The Arts" In New Hope

The public is invited to "Rock the Arts" during a weekend benefit concert, hoping to raise $10,000 in support of live music and theater programming at New Hope ARTS. The event takes place on Saturday, March 21, from 7 to 10 p.m. at New Hope ARTS located at 2 Stockton Ave. The evening will feature a full two-hour set of full rock-and-roll by the Bucks County-based band Wineskin, which is donating its performance that night to the cause. Reservations are required.

Wineskin will perform on Saturday for the benefit of New Hope Arts.

Classic Guitar Trio Performing At Bucks

Bucks Live! and the Philadelphia Classical Guitar Society is bringing the Volterra Project Trio to the stage on Saturday, March 21 beginning at 3 p.m. at Bucks County Community College in Newtown. The multinational group reimagines classical guitar trio music, drawing inspiration from European impressionism, Mediterranean folk melodies, and cinematic scores. There is an admission fee.

Firefighters Serving Pancake Breakfast

The Doylestown Fire Company No. 1 will be firing up the griddles for its 62nd annual pancake breakfast on Saturday, March 21. The fundraiser, organized by the company’s auxiliary, will take place inside the fire hall at 68 Shewell Avenue in Doylestown Borough from 6:30 a.m. to noon. The menu includes pancakes, sausage, juice, and coffee.
