Elderly Woman Killed In Bucks Co. Pedestrian Accident
The woman was transported to the hospital, where she died from her injuries, police said.
SELLERSVILLE, PA — An 81-year-old woman was struck and killed Thursday morning while crossing the street in Sellersville Borough.
Perkasie Borough Police said an eastbound car struck the woman around 6:30 a.m. while she was attempting to cross Park Avenue just west of Hughes Avenue.
The woman was transported to St. Luke's Grandview Hospital by ChalBrit EMS, where she died from her injuries, police said.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators, police said.
Preliminary findings suggest that excessive speed was not a contributing factor in the crash.

Assistance was provided at the scene by the Sellersville Fire Department, ChalBrit EMS, and Sellersville Fire Police personnel.
