The Best Food, Drink In Pennsylvania For 2018: The Full List

The Daily Meal's "complete" food-and-drink guide for Pennsylvania names the best places to go in 20-plus categories.

Hungry for nothing but the best? You might want to plan an in-state road trip. Popular food site The Daily Meal has provided what it's calling the definitive list of the best places to eat and drink in Pennsylvania for 2018. Philadelphia wins big on the list, with the majority of the best eats hailing from the City of Brotherly love.

"Pennsylvania is at a bit of a cultural crossroads. On one hand, you have the backbone of this country, the blue collar workers, chugging along and enjoying a cheap beer at the state’s best dive bar (McGlinchey's Bar & Grill) and eating the best pretzels in the country at Miller’s Twist. On the other hand, you have the growing metropolises of Pittsburgh and Philadelphia," the site notes.

"But don’t think that means Philadelphia or Pennsylvania as a whole are becoming pretentious. You can still kick back with the best cheesesteaks and roast pork sandwiches in the whole country."
