Doylestown Tigers Go for PA State Championship on Saturday

We've all heard about the little engine that could, but the Doylestown Tigers are proving they are the Big Engine that Can!

We've all heard about the little engine that could, but the Doylestown Tigers are proving they are the Big Engine that Can! And today, they will once again head to Boyertown Stadium to play in the PA State Championship game at 12:30 p.m.

On Friday night, the Tigers showed the depth of the team, with clutch hits by Gene Alpin and steady defense by Ryan Gilbert, Dylan Glassmire and Clay Sebesky.  And, the guts and determination to work out of a bases-loaded fourth inning by Anthony Barilla, had the fans on both sides on the edge of their seats.

The Tigers are ready to take it to the next level and beyond. They have both the finese to make the most difficult plays look easy and the grit to come together as a team to win every which way .. and win big.  The Tigers have scored 41 runs in four games and are ready for more today.
