Bucks Commissioners Announce New Director of Housing And Community Development

Roger Collins previously worked for 12 years as executive director of the Bucks County Opportunity Council.

On Monday, July 28, Roger Collins joined the County of Bucks as director of housing and community development. Collins comes to county government following 12 years as executive director of the Bucks County Opportunity Council. Previously, Collins worked in Fortune 500 company management positions.

“We are excited to welcome Roger to his new role with county government,” Commissioner Chairman Robert G. Loughery stated. “His experience and knowledge of our community will be a tremendous asset to his colleagues and the residents we serve on a daily basis.”

Collins also was a key member of the former Commissioners’ Economic Development Advisory Board (EDAB) and served as a volunteer board member for the Bucks County Workforce Investment Board (WIB).

His starting annual salary will be $81,600.
