Bucks County Man Sent To Prison For Raping 15-Year-Old Girl
Judge calls Sellersville man "a despicable person" before sentencing him to prison on Monday.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — A Sellersville man was sentenced to between 12 1/2 to 25 years in state prison for the Oct. 13, 2023 rape of a 15-year-old girl in the parking lot of a grocery store in Quakertown.
Miguel Angel Sanchez, 33, entered a no-contest plea on May 20 to numerous counts of rape, statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, trafficking in individuals, and related crimes. In entering the plea, Sanchez acknowledged the evidence against him was sufficient to convict him at trial.
Calling him “despicable,” Common Pleas Judge Stephen Corr on Monday sentenced Sanchez to state prison and to five years of probation.

The investigation began on October 24 after Quakertown police took a report of a rape that happened the night before in the parking lot of the Giant at 1465 W. Broad Street.
The victim, a 15-year-old girl, told police a man, later identified as Sanchez, raped her inside his vehicle, which she described as a white, 4 door-vehicle.
The victim told police she met Sanchez on one prior occasion, and they exchanged contact information through Snapchat. During Snapchat conversations, Sanchez would ask the victim for videos of her nude and/or performing sex acts in exchange for money. Sanchez also communicated with one of the victim’s friends, a 16-year-old girl, through Snapchat, and he also asked her for sex videos in exchange for money.
Quakertown police were able to review surveillance videos from the area and observed a white sedan in the Giant parking lot at the time of the rape. The vehicle was linked to Sanchez, and his driver’s license photo matched a photo found on the victim’s phone.
The case was investigated by Quakertown Borough Police Department, led by Detective Ryan Naugle, and is assigned for prosecution to Deputy District Attorney Brittney M. Kern.
