Bucks County Grocery Store Acquires New Jersey Market

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Bucks County-based McCaffrey's Market has announced the acquisition of independently-owned Pennington Quality Market in Pennington, New Jersey, bringing the number of its stores to nine, including the Simply Fresh Market in Doylestown.
In other business news around the county, a new Clusters Handcrafted Popcorn store has opened its doors. A new UPS store also celebrated the grand opening of a new location on Saturday. And a new barbershop has opened in the heart of Doylestown Borough.

McCaffrey's Acquires NJ Grocery Store
Bucks County-based McCaffrey' Market will be expanding its network of stores later this month to include a new location in New Jersey. McCaffrey's has acquired Pennington Quality Market, which has been owned and operated by the Rothwell family for the past 45 years. "We are honored to welcome Pennington Quality Market into the McCaffrey's family. PQM has built an outstanding reputation, and we look forward to building on that strong reputation," said Jim McCaffrey IV. "Our goal is to continue delivering the high quality products, service, community focus that customers have come to expect." Pennington Market is slated to close on June 13 and reopen on June 15 as McCaffrey's.

Clusters Opens New Store In Bucks Co.
A new specialty snack food store has opened its doors at the Village at Newtown Shopping Center. Clusters Handcrafted Popcorn, which has stores in nearby New Hope and at Peddler’s Village in Lahaska, has brought its unique sweet and savory treats to Newtown. Popcorn lovers can find the Newtown franchise, owned by Yardley residents Richard and Ericka Arcieri, located between Trinity Rehab and Naked Chocolate at the former location of Bobby Chez Gourmet To Go, which closed its doors in 2025 when the owners retired.

Peddler’s Village Taps Marketing Director
Ali Weinstein has joined Peddler's Village as its new director of sales and marketing, the village has announced. As director of sales and marketing, Weinstein leads Peddler’s Village’s marketing and sales teams, with a focus on driving traffic, increasing sales, and enhancing the overall guest experience throughout the village. Since joining the team in May, she has quickly become a valued member of the management team, bringing extensive experience in advertising, marketing, media relations, and hospitality leadership.

Old School Barbershop Opens In Doylestown
A new barbershop has opened its doors in the heart of Doylestown Borough. Owner Ray Masciocchi of Doylestown and manager Paul Jarek of Quakertown have teamed up to offer traditional cuts and shaves at The Way Barber Co., an old school barbershop at 10 North Main Street behind Starbucks. “The desire is to make people look good because when people look good they feel good,” said Jarek.

UPS Store Brings One-Stop-Shop To Dublin
The UPS Store celebrate its grand opening on Saturday at the Dublin Town Center in conjunction with Dublin Community Day. Located at 161 North Main St. (Unit 8B), Dublin, the store officially opened on June 1, joining the lineup of shops and restaurants at the reimagined Dublin Town Center, formerly the Dublin Village Plaza.

CEO Named Philadelphia Titan 100 Honoree
