Vacancy Board Meets In Rare Session To Appoint Warrington Supervisor
Warrington attorney to fill seat formerly held by Vanessa Maurer who resigned her position on the board in September.

WARRINGTON, PA — In a rare meeting Tuesday night, the township’s vacancy board voted 3 to 2 to appoint Mike Thom to an opening on the five-member board of supervisors.
The vacancy board, chaired by Dan Metz, only convenes when the board of supervisors deadlocks over the appointment of a supervisor, which happened on October 13.
Republican Supervisors Brian Kelly and Mike Diorka nominated Thom while Democratic Supervisors Andrew Mccaulay and Ruth Schemm nominated Dominick Petrillo to fill the seat formerly held by Republican Vanessa Maurer.
