Burglary Arrest, Man Appears In Court With A Knife: Central Bucks Regional Crime Report
The Central Bucks Regional Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests during January in the three boroughs.
DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — The Central Bucks Regional Police Department released its activity report for January. The reports detail various arrests and citations issued during the month, covering a range of incidents across three municipalities.
- In Doylestown Borough, a 20-year-old man was charged with a liquor law violation on January 1 at 425 S. Main Street after police responded to an intoxicated underage man.
- On January 2, a 43-year-old man from Doylestown Borough was charged with contempt for violating a Protection from Abuse order for a second time.
- An active burglary on January 3 at 8 West Street Apartments in Doylestown Borough led to a 21-year-old man being charged with burglary, criminal trespass, criminal mischief, terroristic threats, and assault. He was arraigned, and bail was set at 10 percent of $150,000, after which he was remanded to Bucks County Prison.
- Several individuals were cited for disorderly conduct related to public urination for separate incidents in Doylestown Borough. These individuals included a 36-year old man from Oak Lane, a 23-year old man from Perkasie, a 23-year-old man from Northampton Township, a 24-year-old man from Warminster, a 23-year-old man from Southampton Township, a 22-year-old man from Doylestown, and a 21-year-old woman from Lower Moreland Township.
- On Jan. 6, a 58-year-old man from Willow Grove was charged with drug violations following a traffic stop to assist a driver who was stopped with hazards illuminated at North Street and Swartz Avenue in Chalfont Borough.
- In New Britain Borough, a 30-year-old man from Lansdale was charged with a weapons violation on January 6 at 962 Town Center after appearing in court with a knife, which is prohibited in the courthouse.
- On Jan. 7, a 17-year-old boy from Doylestown was charged with simple assault and harassment for a domestic-in-progress at 70 Old Dublin Pike in Doylestown Borough.
- A 58-year-old man from Willow Grove was charged with drug violations on Jan. 6 at North Street and Swartz Avenue in Chalfont Borough following a traffic stop to assist a driver.
- A 29-year-old woman from Philadelphia was charged with public drunkenness on Jan. 9 at 19 North Main Street in Doylestown Borough following a dispatch for an unwanted and intoxicated subject.
- A 17-year-old man from Quakertown was charged with harassment on January 20 at LifeWorks Academy in New Britain Borough for threatening a staff member following student discipline.
- A 51-year-old woman from Doylestown was charged with DUI following police response to a two-vehicle accident at Doyle and Clinton Streets in Doylestown Borough.
- A 12-year-old boy from Doylestown was cited for instigating a physical altercation on Dommel Way and W. Court Street in Doylestown Borough on Jan. 23.
- A 21-year-old man from Newtown was cited for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness following police response to a physical altercation at Chambers Restaurant, 19 North Main Streeet.
- On January 25, a 20-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman, both from Hatboro, were cited for possessing a small amount of marijuana when police responded to a disabled vehicle at Route 202 and S. Main Street in Doylestown Borough.
- On January 29, a 13-year-old boy from Conshohocken was charged with a drug violation at 833 E. Butler Avenue in New Britain Borough after police responded to LifeWorks Academy for a student in possession of vape pens.
The Central Bucks Regional Police Department serves the three boroughs of Doylestown, New Britain and Chalfont.
