Byers' Choice Ltd. Recognized for Contributions to Frontline Health Care Workers
Doylestown Health Foundation recognizes community partners for exemplary donations made to the hospital. Byers' Choice Ltd. was honored to receive special recognition for the contributions that they have made including the production of PPE during the COVID-19 pandemic.
From Carolers to cloth masks, Byers' Choice Ltd. has converted their Chalfont, Pa-based Christmas factory into a mask assembly operation. A small team of Byers' Choice Artisans have made almost 10,000 cloth and surgical face masks as well as several hundred bouffant caps over the past six weeks. The vast majority of these have been supplied to Doylestown Health, with the balance being donated to other frontline health care professionals.
The award from Doylestown Health Foundation, a glass medallion from Simon Pearce, has the inscription: "One Vision for patient care excellence where science and technology meet grace and humanity. Doylestown Health gratefully acknowledges our partners in philanthropy."
