CB East Senior Named Bucks County High School Poet of the Year

Stina Stannik, a senior at Central Bucks High School East, has been named Bucks County's High School Poet of the Year.

The finalists also were students from Central Bucks, including:

• first runner-up, CB South junior Abigail Wang, of Chalfont
• second runner-up, CB West senior Dana Lapides, of Doylestown
• third runner-up, CB East junior Meghan Jusczak, of Doylestown

Stannik will give her inaugural reading as winner of 25th annual poet of the year contest at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 15, at the Orangery at Bucks County Community College, 275 Swamp Rd., Newtown.

Stannik will be joined by Wang, Lapides and Jusczak at the reading. It is free and open to the public.
