CB Educator Named Teacher Of The Year By PA VFW

A Central Bucks School District teacher has been named the Pennsylvania Veterans of Foreign Wars Teacher of the Year, the district announced.

Holicong Middle School teacher Michelle Ambrosini was nominated by the Doylestown VFW Post 175. Ambrosini, who teaches seventh grade English language arts, has worked for the past seven years on the VFW’s Patriots Pen Essay Contest with members of Post 175.

Ambrosini is “a team leader, department chair, and instructional leader, and part of the foundation of our school," said Holicong Principal Kevin Shillingford.

“Ms. Ambrosini is an outstanding educator and citizen who serves the students of Holicong and Central Bucks School District every single day with a dedication and passion that is unparalleled,” he said. “She is a consummate professional and I feel honored to work alongside her.”
