CB South Principal Named Assistant Superintendent For Secondary Education

Scott Davidheiser, former principal of Central Bucks High School South, has been appointed as the district's assistant superintendent for secondary education, effective today (Wednesday, July 27).

The district will be hiring a new principal for CB South. That search is now underway, the district announced.

Central Bucks School District also approved several additional administrative appointments during Tuesday's board meeting.

Jason Jaffe, supervisor of educational technology, was promoted to director of technology and innovation, effective July 11.

"In this role, Mr. Jaffe will oversee the district’s Information Technology Department and focus on its support of evolving educational needs. Hiring is in process for a new Supervisor of Educational Technology," the district announced.

Christina Donnelly Adelberger was appointed as assistant principal of Simon Butler Elementary School, effective July 1. Adelberger previously served as teacher and administrative intern at Butler Elementary. The position of assistant principal at Simon Butler Elementary School is new.

Jennifer Opdyke has been appointed as assistant principal of Groveland Elementary School, effective August 15. Opdyke is currently the curriculum supervisor and federal programs coordinator for the Pennridge School District. She replaces Kathleen Fantaskey, who will join Bridge Valley Elementary as assistant principal.

Former Bridge Valley Assistant Principal Kelly Carter has replaced Paul Beltz as supervisor of reading and federal programs. Beltz has retired.
