CB West's 6th Test-Drive Fundraiser Meets Goal, Raises $7K

The Central Bucks West Football Parents Club mobilized the community to raise over $7,000 for the football, band and cheerleading programs.

As the day brightened on Sept. 12, the community came out to Central Bucks High School West, chose a Ford car, truck or SUV, and drove. And drove and drove.

In fact, they racked up 352 qualified test drives to earn the borough high school’s football, cheerleader and band programs $7,040 from Ford Motor Company and Fred Beans Ford of Doylestown through Ford’s Drive 4 UR School fundraiser. For every qualified test drive, Ford and Fred Beans is donating $20 to the school, up to 300 test drives. In addition, Fred Beans is donating $20 to the school for every drive over the 300 cap.

This was CB West’s sixth Drive 4 UR School event, all benefiting the football, band and cheerleading programs. The six events have helped Central Bucks West raise nearly $37,000 through Ford’s Drive 4 UR School program https://drive4urschool.com/ and its partnership with Fred Beans Ford.

Central Bucks West football, band and cheerleading participants thank all those who took the time to come out for a test drive, as well as all the parents, kids and other volunteers who helped maintain order — and entertainment — at the sign-up tables.

The football parents club partnered with Fred Beans Ford of Doylestown, which provided the vehicles and personnel for the event and liaised with Ford Motor Co. to arrange the no-hassle, no-sales, no-obligation community event.
