Central Bucks School District Closed On Monday: Will It Be A Snow Or Flex Day?
Massive winter storm blankets Bucks County with snow, sleet, and freezing rain.
DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Central Bucks School District on Sunday announced that all district schools will be closed on Monday, Jan. 26, for a traditional snow day.
The district will make a decision on Monday whether school buildings will be open on Tuesday, Jan. 27, or whether the district will be holding a Flexible Instructional Day (FID).
"We will notify the community as soon as we make this decision. This will give us more time to monitor conditions and the state of our roadways, sidewalks, and parking lots," said Interium Superintendent Charles Malone.

Flexible Instructional Days
Any school closures after the first traditional snow day are Flexible Instructional Days (FIDs). Families should review FID expectations for their school level on the school district's FID webpage.

Secondary Schools (Grades 7–12)
Tuesday, Jan. 27, is currently scheduled as the end of the second marking period and an early dismissal day. Because Jan. 26 is a snow day, the first day back in school will be Final Exam Day 2 for high schools and a full day for middle schools, followed by an end-of-marking-period early dismissal day.
