Friday's performances are part of the Central Bucks A Cappella Camp, a specialized summer program hosted by the school district. Participants spend a week learning pop arrangements before concluding with free, public pop-up performances.

A Cappella is a performance style where music is created solely by the human voice without any instrumental accompaniment. It relies entirely on singers to produce melodies, harmonies, and a rhythmic background.

Central Bucks has six high school a cappella groups - "Chord Street" at CB West; "Femme Forte" and the "Bluecoats" at CB East; and Southside A Cappella, the Bluebirds, and Titans A Tempo at CB South.
