Central Bucks Chamber Of Commerce Relocates To Biotech Center

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce has relocated its headquarters to the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center (PABC) in Doylestown.

Led by Theresa M. Fera, president and CEO, the Chamber of Commerce had been operating in an office complex not far from the PABC campus on Old Easton Road adjacent to the airport.

"Theresa and her team provide a wide range of excellent services to businesses operating in our area," said Louis P. Kassa III, MPA, CEO and president of the PABC and CEO of its two sister organizations, the Hepatitis B Foundation and Baruch S. Blumberg Institute. "The Chamber's folks, including its many members, will be a wonderful addition to the PABC community, and it will be a pleasure to welcome them."

Kassa also serves on the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

The Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce holds numerous events throughout the year, and Fera anticipates holding some of them at the PABC. Fera and her team are planning an open house for Chamber members and the PABC's nearly 100 member companies.

“We are thrilled to be joining the PABC's vibrant community, and to be associated with the exciting, important biomedical research and development being done on the campus,” Fera said. “The move represents a huge milestone, a new chapter of the Chamber's journey, particularly as we celebrate our
80th anniversary."

The Chamber's web and email addresses and phone numbers will not change.

The Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center uses a highly successful services-based approach to nurture and guide its member companies to success, advance biotechnology and
maximize synergies among nonprofit scientists and their commercial colleagues. The PABC has nearly 100 member companies and organizations, primarily small to mid-size biotech and life sciences companies.

About 60 of those operate on the Doylestown campus, which is home to the Hepatitis B Foundation and Blumberg Institute. The PABC also manages B+labs at Cira Centre, an incubator in
