Central Bucks Enrollment Down By 476 Students

In total, there are 19,090 students enrolled in the district. Last year, there was 19,566.

Enrollment at Central Bucks School District decreased by 476 students this fall, according to data released Tuesday by the administration.

Elementary enrollment decreased by 231 students. Middle school enrollment is down by 137 students and the high school has 108 less students.

With 461 students, Linden had the lowest enrollment among elementary schools. Mill Creek had 954 students, the most out of district elementary schools.

Holicong had the highest enrollment among middle schools and Central Bucks South, with 1858 students, had the highest enrollment among high schools.

Superintendent David Weitzel attributed the decline to a slow down in the economy, the Intellgencer reported.
