Central Bucks Regional Police Officers Commended For Actions
Three officers recognized for their actions earlier this spring in deescalating a situation at War Memorial Field.

DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — The Central Bucks Regional Police Commission at its June meeting presented Letters of Commendation to Officer Dan Boyle, Corporal Sean Tropiano and Sergeant Jaclyn Riccio for their actions earlier this spring in deescalating a situation at War Memorial Field.
On May 28 the officers responded to the field for an incident involving a military veteran suffering from a PTSD episode. The officers coordinated with the veteran’s father, Bucks County Veterans Affairs and a representative from the Travis Manion Foundation to ensure a successful outcome utilizing de-escalation techniques.
In attendance at the June meeting were the veteran’s father and a representative from the Bucks County Veterans Association who gave accolades to the officers for their professionalism and compassion while interacting with the five-tour of duty military veteran.
