The eighteen years I have spent as a member of the Central Bucks School District, first as Principal of Warwick Elementary School, then as Assistant Superintendent for Elementary Education, and finally as Superintendent, have been an honor. It has been my privilege to interact with amazing students and to work with dedicated parents, community members, and an outstanding group of school directors, administrators, teachers, and support staff. Your commitment to supporting a rigorous, relevant, and well-rounded educational experience for ALL children is remarkable!

When I accepted the position of Acting Superintendent in July 2013, then Superintendent in October, I told the Board that my central focus would be on supporting our students, teachers, staff, and administrators in their day-to-day efforts to provide meaningful teaching/learning opportunities in physically safe and emotionally supportive classrooms and schools. I will continue to act on this pledge.

Please know that implementing the current Educational Technology Initiative will remain an integral part of my work this year because of its direct and positive impact on the educational experiences of all our students. I believe that our district has made great strides in providing twenty-first century, real-world learning.

Please know that I am fully committed to accomplishing our 2015-16 school district goals and I look forward to another productive school year.
