Construction Work Scheduled on Doylestown Area Roadways

Crews will be resurfacing a highway in Warrington and line striping on the Route 202 and Route 611 bypass in Doylestown.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Various construction activities are scheduled this week on several state highways in the Doylestown-Warrington area, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

  • From Monday, August 7 to Friday, August 11 lane closure is scheduled on Route 611 (Easton Road) between Bristol Road and Kelly Road in Warrington Township, Bucks County, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning for resurfacing operations.
  • Now through Friday, August 11 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, alternating lane closures are scheduled in both directions on U.S. 202 (Doylestown Bypass) between Route 611 and the East Road Overpass in Doylestown Township and Doylestown Borough for line striping;
  • Now through Friday, August 11 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, alternating lane closures are scheduled in both directions on Route 611 (South Easton Road/Doylestown Bypass/Easton Road) between the Ferry Road Overpass and Edison Furlong Road in Plumstead and Doylestown townships and Doylestown Borough for line striping;
  • Now through Friday, August 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a lane closure is scheduled on Bristol Road/Gibson Road between Butler Avenue and Bensalem Boulevard in New Britain, Warrington, Doylestown, Warwick, Northampton, Lower Southampton, and Bensalem townships and Chalfont Borough for line striping;
  • Now through Friday, August 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a lane closure is scheduled on Almshouse Road between Butler Avenue and Route 332 (Jacksonville Road) in New Britain, Doylestown, Warwick, and Northampton townships for line striping;
  • Wednesday, August 9, through Friday, August 11, from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., St. Peters Road will be reduced to a single lane with flagging between Wells Road and Harmonyville Road in Warwick Township for drainage repair.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
