Cougar Sighting Reported In Buckingham

UPDATE: ‘No Evidence’ To Support Cougar Sighting, Police Say

A Buckingham resident reported a cougar sighting to police Wednesday in the area of Mill Road and Route 263, according to published reports.

The Intelligencer reported the homeowner told police a family member also saw the cougar a month ago in the same area. Police say the sighting is rare, but not impossible, the report said.

Authorities advise residents not to approach cougars if you come into contact with one.
