DOYLESTOWN, PA — "A Night Of Song," a series of cozy musical performances featuring songwriters from the worlds of indie, folk, blues, jazz, and roots, returns to the century-old TileWorks in Doylestown on Nov. 7.

The series opens its third consecutive year with music from folk artists Marty O'Reilly and Yuri Gohen inside the historic factory, which is adorned from floor to ceiling with Henry Mercer's tools and tiles.

"A Night of Song celebrates the hand-crafted," says series producer and host, Joe Montone, whose nonprofit Stage United produces the series with the TileWorks. He continues, "Combining raw voices with the wild clay at TileWorks is a deeply human experience, and something that feels
like home."

Marty O'Reilly returns to the series as part of a national tour supporting his latest release, "The Rhinefarm." In 2025, the Sonoma, California, native was a contestant on season 28 of "The Voice." He pulls inspiration from the roots of Americana; his sound references folk greats like Woody Guthrie, blues legends like Howlin’ Wolf, gospel pioneers like Sister Rosetta Tharpe, and master storytellers like Tom Waits.

Local Bucks County folk singer Yuri Gohen opens the show, accompanied by Anthony Carlson on fiddle. The duo will showcase the relevance of folk songs as Yuri describes, "both as an invaluable record of our shared history and as the fluid wellspring from which our shared present flows."

Gohen has been performing as a folk singer and archivist for more than 15 years, inspired by Harry Smith's "Anthology of American Folk Music" and collections of ethnomusicologist Alan Lomax.

Infusing live music curated by Stage United within the iconic concrete parlor of The Big Room has become a quintessential Bucks County experience. The reactivation of The Big Room is one of the many advancements at Tile Works since the nonprofit TileWorks Of Bucks County was formed in 2019. It is now a sought-after gem for concerts, fireside chats, and other cultural events.

Arrival for audiences on Saturday, Nov. is set for 6:30 p.m., with showtime at 7:30. A Night of Song is open to all ages.

The TileWorks of Bucks County is located at 130 East Swamp Road in Doylestown. Food will be provided by The Board Housewife. More installments of "A Night Of Song" will be announced by December.
