Dangerous Snow Squall Moving Through PA, NJ
BREAKING: As it moves through the area, the storm system could bring dangerous winds, heavy snow and visibilities near zero.
MOUNT HOLLY, NJ — A fast-moving and intense snow squall is moving into parts of southeastern Pennsylvania and northwestern New Jersey on Saturday, bringing with it dangerous winds, heavy snow and visibility that could, at times, reach a quarter-mile or less.
At approximately 1:36 p.m., a dangerous snow squall was located along a line extending from Alpine Mountain to near Emmaus, moving east at 45 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
A snow squall warning is in place for the following areas until 2:30 p.m.:

- Warren County, NJ
- Northern Somerset County, NJ
- Northwestern Bucks County, PA
- Southeastern Monroe County, PA

- Southeastern Lehigh County, PA
The line of snow showers and potential squalls will arrive in Berks County and move northward through the Lehigh Valley and the southern Poconos between 1-2 p.m., forecasters said. The storm system is expected to reach northwestern New Jersey between 2-3 p.m.
Any squalls should last no more than 10 to 15 minutes at any location, forecasters said.
