Dogs Invited To Swim At Fanny Chapman Pool This Saturday

Dogs are invited to swim this Saturday at Doylestown’s Fanny Chapman Pool during the first-ever Fido Float at Fanny event.

According to an event flyer, all dogs are welcomed to attend. Small dogs are invited to swim from 12:30 to 2 and dogs heavier than 30 pounds are invited from 2:30 to 4 p.m. The cost is $10 for members of the Doylestown Dog Park and $15 for nonmembers.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Doylestown Dog Park and the pool.

If you go:

• No more than two dogs per person
• Children are not permitted
• Owners must provide proof of current vaccinations
• Dogs must be neutered to attend; female dogs in heat are prohibited
• Unruly dogs will be asked to leave
• Canine life jackets are permitted
• Owners are permitted in the pool waist deep to assist their dogs
• Dog toys are not permitted
• Lifeguards will be there to assist humans; Doylestown Medical Animal Clinic will be there for dog first aid
• Glass containers and human food items are prohibited
