Doylestown Borough Appoints 1st Director Of Emergency Services
As director, Scott Fleischer will serve as the borough's emergency coordinator, fire marshal, and code enforcement officer.

DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — Scott Fleischer has been appointed as Doylestown Borough's first director of emergency services, the borough has announced.
As director, Fleischer will serve as the borough's emergency coordinator, fire marshal, and code enforcement officer effectively overseeing all aspects of the borough's emergency response, including fire, ambulance, property maintenance and fire codes, and disaster response.
Fleischer will also act as staff liaison to the Emergency Preparedness and Communications Board and manage the newly-created Community Emergency Response Team.

Fleischer is a life member with the Point Pleasant Fire Company, where he has served as fire chief since 2003. He has previously served as fire marshal, deputy fire marshal, Emergency Management Coordinator, and Code Enforcement Officer for several towns in Bucks and Montgomery counties.
Originally from Bensalem, Fleisher lives in Plumstead Township with his wife, Cindy, and three children. He enjoys many outdoor activities including gardening and walking his Australian Shepherd, Holly.
