Doylestown Mayor Gets Married, Read Announcement in New York Times

According to the New York Times Strouse and Frederick Lloyd Cresson were married Saturday at the Mercer Museum.

Doylestown Mayor Ronald Strouse was married over the weekend, according to an announcement that was posted in the New York Times.

According to the New York Times, Strouse and Frederick Lloyd Cresson were married Saturday at the Mercer Museum by former Doylestown Mayor Libby White.

Mr. Strouse, 67, succeeded Ms. White last year as the mayor of Doylestown. Previously, he was a chef for catered events and he and Mr. Cresson had owned a historic inn, Evermay-on-the-Delaware, in Erwinna, Pa. He graduated from American University.

He is a son of the late Lena B. Strouse and the late Lester D. Strouse Sr., who lived in Doylestown.

Mr. Cresson, 72, retired as an event planner at the Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm in Holicong, Pa. He also graduated from American University.
