Good Housekeeping has named Doylestown as Pennsylvania's 'Most Underrated Attraction.'

Doylestown is Pennsylvania's "Most Underrated Attraction," according to a new analysis by Good Housekeeping magazine. In a piece titled "50 Most Underrated Attractions in Every State," Doylestown comes out on top for the Keystone State.
In the March 27 piece, author Brie Dyas aims to unearth the top spots in each state that go beyond the well-known tourist attractions. "From fascinating museums to gorgeous scenery, these destinations are just as interesting but are off-the-beaten-path, even for locals, and a guaranteed hit for your next long weekend," the report says.
In selecting Doylestown for Pennsylvania, the magazine touts the town's "fantastic" museums, saying this:

Though many focus their weekend trips on nearby New Hope, the quaint town of Doylestown is home to a few fantastic museums. Take the Mercer Museum, which occupies the former home of historian Henry Mercer. The all-concrete, six-story castle has everything: Mercer was a collector of anything that caught his eye.
The piece goes on to compliment the James A. Michener Art Museum.
