Doylestown Pride Festival Kicks Off Thursday
The first-ever Doylestown Pride Festival kicks off Thursday. A kickoff celebration will be held starting at 6 p.m. at the Zen Den.
DOYLESTOWN, PA — The inaugural Doylestown Pride Festival gets underway this Thursday, June 20 and goes through Sunday, June 23. The event kicks off with a celebration at 6 p.m. at the Zen Den.
The festival, an effort spearheaded by a group of local organizations, features a variety of events, including film screenings, a block party, music, a drink contest and more.
The event is supported by several local organizations, including Discover Doylestown, the Borough of Doylestown, Borough Council, Delaware Valley University, Michener Art Museum, the Rainbow Room, A Woman's Place, and others.

A drink contest will be held throughout the festival. Several Doylestown establishments will be offering Pride-themed cocktails; the winning bar will be given a special spotlight for their participation.
A kickoff celebration will be held starting at 6 p.m. at the Zen Den. The kickoff party will include music, drinks, and more. Tickets are required but the event is free to attend. Attendees must be 21 or older. Click here to reserve free tickets.
County Theatre will host a screening of the "Wild Nights with Emily" — a film about poet Emily Dickinson. The film, described as "a silly, but deceptively smart look at the legacy of one of America's finest poets," starts at 7:30 p.m.
A Big Gay Karaoke event will be held at MOM's starting at 9 p.m.
JUNE 21
MOM's will host A Night of Dark and Dirty Techno starting at 10 p.m.
JUNE 22
The Salt Cave will host Salty Social & Mimosas starting at 9 a.m. For $35, enjoy a 30 minute Salt Social inside the Salt Cave with a Salt Therapy Treatment and complimentary mimosas. A portion of all ticket sales will be donated to The Rainbow Room. Click here for tickets.
From 2 to 6 p.m., the main event of the festival — a Block Party — will be held on E. State Street. The event will feature four hours of activities, music, and even a drag queen story time.
JUNE 23
Salem Church will host a "We Have Pride" sermon at 10 a.m. The church is located at 186 E Court St.
Cabaret at The Otherside will be held from 2pm to 6pm. Entertainment will be provided by Andy Prescott.
