Egg Hunt Sends Kids Scrambling At Broad Commons Park In Doylestown
The event brought hundreds to the park for a morning of fun, including a series of age-group hunts that sent kids racing across the lawn.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Thousands of eggs added splashes of color to the lawn at Broad Commons Park on Saturday morning setting the stage for Doylestown Borough’s third Broad Commons egg hunt.
The event brought hundreds to the park for a morning of fun that included a series of age group hunts that sent kids scrambling across the lawn with baskets and bags.
Volunteers with the Next Step program helped with scattering the 4,000 eggs across the fields.

Organized by Doylestown Borough, the event also included Kona Ice, a coloring activity for the kids by Busy Bee Toys, a guess the number of jellybeans contest, and visits with the Easter Bunny.
Highlighting the morning was a series of age group hunts, each beginning with a mad dash across the grass. Those who found a gold coin inside their egg could redeemed them for prizes.
