Employee Charged In Theft Plot At Warrington Township Store
Store personnel told police that he stole approximately $7,467.72 worth of merchandise between March 8 and 28.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A former Home Depot employee is facing charges after he allegedly stole more than $7,400 from the store with the help of two accomplices.
On April 10, Warrington police were called to the store for an employee theft investigation. Loss prevention told police that they had detained 19-year-old Freddy Iban Madrid-Lopez from Philadelphia in the office for suspected theft.
Store personnel told police that Madrid-Lopez stole approximately $7,467.72 worth of merchandise from the store between March 8 and 28.

Police learned from store personnel that Madrid-Lopez had the help of two accomplices who selected merchandise and proceeded to the self-checkout where Madrid -Lopez would void the sales. The accomplices then exited the store with the merchandise without paying.
Madrid-Lopez was placed under arrest and transported to the station where he was processed. He was arraigned by Judge Wertman who set bail at $50,000 or 10 percent cash.

Madrid-Lopez was unable to post bail and was transported to the Bucks County Correctional Facility to await court action.
He has been charged with theft by unlawful deception, a third degree felony.
