State-sponsored torture is perpetrated against our presumed enemies in war, and also in our own corrections system. Increasingly, persons of conscience are protesting our government's participation in this brutalization of other persons. Learn more about this vital issue, and about how you can support the campaign to end the use of torture. 

John Calvi and QUIT are committed to raising awareness of the practice of state-sponsored torture, and to helping persons whose lives have been damaged by such practices. John has been a tireless advocate for the abolition of torture, and has also devoted his energies to working directly with victims of torture.
