Doylestown, PA – The International School of Shiatsu will present two advanced technique workshops with Saul Goodman, June 8-10 and June 16-20, 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. The classes are open to ISS graduates and healthcare professionals. The June 8-10 workshop is Shin Tai. Shin Tai is a synthesis of Shiatsu, craniosacral, fascial and structural alignment techniques. Shin Tai goes to the source, the parts of our bodies which govern the physiological. Reaching down to this deep level of our primary information center allows for the free flow of crucial energy or the self-healing, self-regulatory benefits our bodies were originally designed to coordinate. The June 16-20 is Hara and Conception Vessel. The Governing Vessel (GV) workshop teaches that the GV is part of the body’s network which directs our physical, emotional and mental development. The GV is also connected to the functions of the spinal column and surrounding tissues. When a practitioner learns the nuances of this modality, their clients have a greater capacity for healing. Author, AOBTA certified instructor and founder of ISS, Saul Goodman has been teaching since 1973 and continuing to develop and practice Shin Tai concepts, physiology and science. Goodman developed the modality of Shin Tai because at the time, he felt standard protocols were simply not fully addressing all of his clients impediments.
