Fatal Car Crash Thursday In Doylestown Township

A fatal car crash happened Thursday afternoon in Doylestown Township. Township police say the accident happened on Sandy Ridge Road near Cavallo Way at 4:10 p.m.

Information regarding the number of cars involved and the identity of the victims was not immediately released. Patch has reached out to Doylestown Township Police and will update this story when we hear back.

However, The Intelligencer is reporting the deceased is a 68-year-old Doylestown Township woman, who died at the scene. The car that hit the woman was reportedly fleeing another minor accident and is suspected of being DUI.

The road was closed for about four hours between Iron Hill Road and Butler Avenue following the crash.
