Flood Watch Extended To Tuesday As Gordon Remnants Pass Over PA
The NWS has extended the Flood Watch in Eastern PA. It now expires Tuesday morning.

The National Weather Service has extended the Flood Watch through Tuesday morning in Eastern Pennsylvania as the remnants of tropical storm Gordon move over the region. Additionally, a Hazardous Weather Outlook has been issued as forecasters are watching Florence.
According to the NWS, the remnants of Gordon will pass to the north and west of the region late this weekend and early next week. "With abundant moisture out ahead of it, a prolonged period of moderate to heavy rain will fall starting late tonight and continuing into Monday," the Flood Watch announcement said.
As much as three inches of rain could fall throughout the watch area, which includes all counties in Eastern Pennsylvania, including Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Philadelphia, as well as the Lehigh Valley.

"That said, the risk for impacts along the east coast continue to increase. However, the uncertainty with the model guidance this far out still makes it difficult to determine the exact location, magnitude, and timing of these impacts our region will have, if any," the Hazardous Weather Outlook said.
