Fountain House Gets Spruced Up

Workers from were hard at work Tuesday afternoon on the Fountain House.

The landmark building at Doylestown's Main and State streets was getting a fresh coat of paint. Workers were applying a bright green paint on the shutters on the back side of the building, brightening up the previous grey-green paint job.

The Fountain House has been a focal point for community gatherings in downtown Doylestown for two centuries. Today, it is on the National Register of Historic Places.
