Fred Beans Auto Group Announces $60K Pledge to CB Cares
Pennsylvania EITC funding program enables the auto group to support CB Cares Educational Foundation.

Fred Beans Automotive Group has been approved by the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit program (EITC) to contribute $30,000 a year over the coming two years to CB Cares Educational Foundation, a state-approved Educational Improvement Organization that serves nearly 20,000 students, 23 schools and 37,800 households in the Central Bucks School District.
CB Cares operates five programs that meet educational curriculum standards for the CB district. The Beans pledge will fund three of the five, which focus on kids:
- Healthier Community Connections Program, which helps provide programs, assemblies and presentations to CB schools on healthy youth development, youth-related issues, youth risk factors, violence prevention, family relations and bonding, community service learning, diversity acceptance and healthy relationships.
- Central Bucks 40 Assets Program, which encourages healthy choices among our youth by following the nationally acclaimed Search Institute’s research-based framework that identifies 40 assets – or building blocks of healthy youth development – that young people need from their families and communities in order to achieve successful personal growth.
- Parent Network creates a network of parents and community leaders that is dedicated to decreasing high-risk behaviors such and substance abuse and providing a safer environment for the children of our community.
The state’s EITC program provides tax benefits to companies that donate to educational programs in their communities. Both the donor and the recipient are vetted for approval in order for the donor to receive the special tax credit for its gift. Fred Beans has been involved in the program for several years. The Beans organization is known for its philanthropy to initiatives for education, children and families.
